Rathcline Club Notes 1st May 2016

posted 3 May 2016, 05:07 by Rathcline Public Relations Officer

There will be a club mass celebrating Lá n gClub on Saturday evening next at 7.30pm. The club invites everyone from the parish to come along and join with us in a celebration of the club and our identity that is our parish Rathcline.

There is a game V Cashel scheduled on Saturday and as I write there is no time for the game. All players will be notified and supporters will learn via Facebook and the fixture will be posted on business windows throughout the town.

The senior team fell short on Friday evening last when despite an excellent battling performance, they were unluckily beaten by Granard. There is no doubt that we are getting closer and closer to that elusive victory that will, no doubt, change everything.

Saturday was a proud day for Eileen, Mike and Michael Hanley when Matthew Flanagan played and won the All-Ireland U21 final in Ennis when they beat Cork.

Well done to Fermoyle girls on winning the Division 3 final when they beat a gallant Ballinalee side.
